Here’s another vote for the RP10. In terms of value I don’t think you can beat it. It’s very musical, detailed, rhythmic, has great imaging and soundstage, and is a breeze to set up and play. If you love to tweak; if you just like the look of big, heavy tables; or if you enjoy the ritual of stopping the platter and playing with record clamps every time you change sides, then the Rega isn’t for you. If you want to just listen to music hassle-free, then it’s an unbeatable option. The Aphelion is a great cartridge, but others match very well with this table, like Yong’s new Statement.
