Default best way to horizontal bi amp

Hello just wondering if fellow McIntosh owners here on the AF forum could offer me their experience and insight on how best to go bi amping my speaker using a MC275 for the highs and a MC462 for the low end. I have C53 preamp.

Wondering how to match the two amps. MC275 has 20.5dB gain from the 8ohm taps and MC462 has 22.9dB gain from the 8ohm taps.

I could use 16ohm taps from the MC275 and I would get a very close 22.7dB of gain maybe that is close enough to just use things as is

BUT my speaker, JBL 4367, are 6ohms from 1kHz to top of the audio band, pretty ruler flat 6ohm actually. Not sure if using the 16ohm taps is a good idea or even viable option, it makes much more sense to use 8ohm taps , but then the gain does not match.

Is there a way to program the C53 to level match things?

Will I be using the 2nd output of the C53 to the MC275? Or would I use the output of the MC462 to the MC275? I don't know if you can have two output on the C53 active a the same time.

Thanks for any help guys
