I spoke to Otis. He seems like a very nice guy (he even mentioned you). They got my bd yesterday. Interestingly, I sent via ups 3day and they got it overnight! Must have been a mistake on UPSs part 
I noticed on my bd, as you mentioned, the brownish stuff leaking around the base of some of the caps.
I look forward to seeing what kind of work they do.
