The actual Ferrari 488 racecars (488 GTE) get a sequential gearbox mounted to the floor due to IMSA’s regulations (not street legal cars lol)...it’s not the traditional gated gear shifters but still require more driver input and control than the road version’s with paddle shifters. Not sure on the 488 GT3 tranny as that class is supposed to be more “affordable” for gentleman racers, but AFAIK the only paddles used in professional racing are limited to F1.
