Congrats on a great speaker. I have listened to the Sopra and 802D3 several times with different amplifier pairings in different rooms. I found the Sopra good but the 802D3 to me was more enjoyable in almost every way, especially with female vocals. I do think equipment pairing and room setup is critical which is why some may prefer one over the other.
