I've been through this myself and I also have dedicated lines. I'm loathe to use any power protection as me and the guys from my audiophile group have tried just about every power protection device under the Sun and they ALL degrade the sound quality to some extent. In the end I went with a Mr T (which is only a power conditioner not a protector) and when there's a lightning storm I unplug my gear. Not a perfect solution but the best in terms of not sacrificing sound quality.
