I was wondering what people use for surge suppression, to protect their valuable Shindo gear from electric spikes or lightning? I’m a little reluctant to plug my stuff directly into the wall as there is a lot of lightning in my area. I know a lot of you use the Mr T – but does this provide protection or just conditioning? I have a dedicated line for my gear, and currently plug it into a Monster Power strip - certainly this is not Shindo approved, and I’m sure it degrades the sound to some extent, but it does help me sleep at night, and has actually worked once when a lot of other electrical equipment got fried form lightning. Anyone have any better suggestions?
