I wanted to ask if the Bryston multichannel (MC) power amps -- like the 9BSST2 Pro I saw in a photo -- was "modular," for lack of a better word. In other words, it appears to me that this amp may have been designed to allow for additional amp channels. Is this correct?

By the way, the 9BSST2 Pro power amp I'm referring to clearly had three channels built into it.

Hi Bill,

The 9B is a 5 channel amplifier but each channel is independent so it can be ordered as a 2 channel - 3 channel - 4 channel or 5 channel version.

The channels can be removed independently as well so if one fails you can have that one serviced but the other channels can still be used.
