I have had McIntosh MC601's for the 4365 for a couple years. Sounded good but when I cranked it up, the sound seemed 'compressed' to me. I have been thrilled with my JBL 1400 Arrays with the Marantz reference stuff (see sig.) and Marantz finally came out with a new reference--albeit not mono blocks--but I decided to give the Marantz PM-10 integrated a shot. I am not surprised at the difference-much more clarity, resolution and detail yet can be turned up and not break up. Coupled with the Marantz SA11-S3 sacdp it just works--and works quite well.
