It does look like the above cable. Since I don't know what will happen when I fire up the tuner I a, going to buy the $20 cable and make sure everything is running okay and that the tuner puts out decent sound. Then... we will talk new cable when I know the capabilities so I can better match the appropriate cable quality. Also, in order to get it up and running... this tuner has not run in at least 15 years. I don't want to jolt it into a smoking mess. I remember a thread a long time ago where Dan (Jdandy) talked about a device that let you adjust the power going to a component that has not been used in a long time that lets you give it a small amount of juice and gradually increase it until you get up to line voltage/amperage in a safe manner. Do you (or Dan, of course) (Dan, I think it was you but my against memory could be wrong) recall what the device was so I can see if I can get ahold of one?
Thanks
Robert
