Tony.......Yes it is. I still play mixed music cassettes from time to time recorded many years ago from vinyl I no longer own. The Nakamichi BX-300 is a nice machine. I also owned a Nakamich CR-7A for many years. Bought it new in California. I had it serviced by Electronic Service Labs twice and then sold it after 15 years. It was a great sounding cassette deck, too.
