It will for sure. Aside from power cables, I found the USB cable to make for the most dramatic change in sound. There are many options available but as a starting point, you can try the original Curious USB. It is a great cable and benchmark to compare other cables to. You can find one on the used market for about 200-250$ but it all depends on your budget, the synergy with the rest of your system and personal taste. For a more budget friendly option, you cannot go wrong with the Shunyata Venom USB. It has receveived a lot of good feedback as well.
I have a Bryston BDP-2 and BDA-3, and I have tried 4 different USB cable in one year and they all contributed to their own way. Since you are familiar with Audioquest, you can go with the Diamond USB but it is more pricey. This is another proven benchmark in the USB cable field. But there are new generations surpassing the previous ones, like Shunyata Alpha/Sigma USB, Curious Evolved, JCAT Signature USB to name a few. But they are significantly more expensive.
