I have been using my Denon DVD-5900 as a primary SACD player for quite awhile. It was made during a 10 year period where Denon really put the effort into top level sound quality. The only thing it cannot process are the blu-ray DVD audio discs. I use my Oppo BDP-83 for those.
Denon did a great job using the Burr Brown DAC's. I am really enjoying the 5800 with my HD800's and Vandersteen's. Strong stuff for sure!
