Ideally solving the problem would be the better alternative than adding the KAB filter. Sometimes though, it's like chasing a hum problem & the woofer pumping is tasking your amp. So, what do you do?

The KAB is an active device (powered via a wallwart or similar), but understand it doesn't induce degradation of sound.

One trick I heard was of installing couple layers of felt or foam under the feet of the TT so there is no direct contact with the TT feet and the shelf it sits on. That's a rather inexpensive option to see if that clears the problem.
