Rmaf 2017
 

A bit early, perhaps, but who's going? I am, and my 19yr old son Richard is too! He's way more into music than gear; he's a musician too.

I have a cousin coming over from Europe for a visit and we're talking about meeting in Denver for RMAF, but won't know for sure for a couple of months.

Having to skip this year as it interferes with a football game.

Since it's only about 5 miles away, I'll be going.

Missing it this year. Went to Axpona last month.

Just purchase airfare, rental car and 3 day tickets. Staying w/my sister in Highlands Ranch area. Looking forward to it as haven't been since 2013 I believe.

Looking forward to meeting up w/AA friends at the show or dinner.:music::banana:

Not sure how folks here have gotten together in recent past years, but the last time I attended (4 years back), we met in the Marriott atrium and took it from there w/dinner at Del Frisco's or Shanahan's Steakhouse.

I think I may try and go this year.......my wife and a couple of her friends may be taking our girls down to Disney over fall break which falls on that weekend, so if they go then I'll be free and try and make it. Did they finish the renovation at the Marriott Tech center? I read that it was quite the mess last year.

Hot chicks at an audio show? Not sure where you are hanging out but in my experience high end audio and hot chicks are mutually exclusive unfortunately......and believe me, I live in the land of hot chicks here in Atlanta. :D

As I posted earlier I am passing this year due to a conflict with a home football game. I believe '18 conflicts too so I will probably hit Munich instead.

For those of you who skipped the 2016 event you will be very surprised how different the hotel looks and the updates were not completed.

Hopefully I'll be in good enough shape to make it on Saturday after working the GABF on Friday night. :beerchug:

Got to side with you on the football game. Also there will probably be more alcohol there which assists in making things look better. ;-)

Best chance is at the GABF! Extra bonus in Denver the same weekend.
I'm clearing the decks and think I'll be able to make it.

GABF is sold out to the general public. Tickets weren't inexpensive neither. So, just as well IMO.

I will probably go again this year. I've only missed maybe 2 or 3 of them since they started way back when - great show :-)

No alcohol sold in the stadium but plenty consumed at the tailgates surrounding it. That is one reason I prefer the early starts rather than 3:30 or a night game.

Looking better for me to make the trip this year......wife is planning on making the trip with her girl friends and little ones, so this may work out. We'll have to get a head count and do some planning as we get closer to September! :banana:
