the new C2450, DP560 and A47

started with the E305 then got the dp-70v and later found a t108.. love that classic combo with the nice wood sides on them, but i had to evolved in this evolution and moved on, sold the system and got a E470, later found a dp-67 and upgraded it to a dp-550. loveded this system even more, so much control in this sound i felt very good, but then read about accuphase class-a and just had to try. i got the A-47 and use the e470 as a preamp and just felt in love with the sound immediately i just had to upgrade the entire system now. so i sold the e470 and dp-550.. after 3 month without music i finally got the new system home

I got the (first in sweden) Accuphase C-2450 and Accuphase Dp-560

And yes once again i love this Accuphase combo. its incredible how it gets better all the time with accuphase it feels so perfect,I could spend days in front of my system without getting tired of listening to music

The A-47 is a great amp. Congratulations.

What speakers are being powered by the A-47?

Catcher10 10-17-2017 07:04 PM

Very nice classic look.....Love those meters.

Nice!

Gorgeous! can we see a better pic (speakers and all...)?

Weirdcuba 10-17-2017 07:06 PM

Wonderful. I've had my accuphase stuff for about two years now and couldn't agree more that it gets better with the passage of time. It's as fresh now (perhaps more) than the day I got it.

frisqo 10-18-2017 04:12 PM

what will happen now?
what will be the next step after this?
an accuphase a70?
or try more sensitive speakers like TAD 2402?
In this passion, it does not help much to be a curious person :)

the lovely Accuphase A70

TMO your Accuphase equipment is in balance, I don‘t know your speakers. If you consider a next step, I would begin with a C-28xx, followed by an A-70.

antipop 10-20-2017 06:52 AM

Very nice system. That must soud wonderful!

Higgens 10-20-2017 07:23 AM

Great system as is, but since you asked for upgrade recommendations, here’s my opinion. Your existing Accuphase electronics are more than up to the task. I would look at a speaker upgrade next. If you like the Tannoy sound, consider the Tannoy Turnberry, Kensington, or Canterbury. Good luck with your journey.

What is the list price for C-2450, A-47 and DP-560 in Sweden? How many percent was the advance payment? Did you have the opportunity to listen to the Accuphase before buying it?

accuphase is very expensive here in sweden and difficult to find..
i hade the accuphase class ab but had to travel to listen to class A.

i paid the full amount.

terrycym 10-23-2017 10:34 AM

Don't worry, it's much the same in the UK where Accuphase is very expensive and only 2 stockists unlike Germany I've heard?

Are the Sweden prices more expensive than in Netherlands or Austria?

How many Accuphase retailers are in Sweden?

Did you have to travel abroad to hear the Accuphase?

You paid the whole amount, when you made the order? It seems to be different in each country. Here, the first payment would have been 50% and then the rest when the order arrives.

When I bought my Accuphase E600, I just ordered without any payment up front, I payd the amp at delivery. (Holland)

with kind regards,
Patrick

imprezap2 10-24-2017 08:12 AM

Picked up my new in box E-600 from my dealer, took it home for a two week trial and transfered the money after the two weeks. (was not my first purchase with this dealer)

With no trade in, the dealer gives me a discount. (only for customers who buy more then once at his shop)

SCAudiophile 10-24-2017 09:09 AM

Beautiful system!!! I love Accuphase gear and considered owning it,..unfortunately (for me) their pricing model is not amenable for the US.

My Accuphase from Romania (Bukarest) very good price

Hello Frisqo, very interested in your journey as an Accuphase fan...! I have myself a E350, DP500 and DG48. I am thinking about adding an A65, since I just saw a second hand one for sale at a reasonable price... But I don’t have a preamp. My question is: do you think the A65 would represent a «*significant*» improvement on the integrated amp? If so do you think it makes sense to use the E350 as a preamp to the A65? Would that do justice to the A65? Or in the contrary would I «*lose*» some of the benefits of the upgrade to the A65? Thanks for sharing your experience with a similar set-up!

NeroNepolus81 12-07-2017 04:43 AM

The A65 will be a lot better than your e350.buy the A65 use the 350 as a preamp.the 350 has the aava so its a good pre amp.later save some more money, sell the 350 and buy a good second hand 2120 or 2420.

hola Leo.
I think that your e-350 is good enough as a preamp and will do a perfect job specially when you are using a dg48, I say keep it. you can easily install a dac50 or ad50 in the e350 and that will save you a lot of money... join the accuphase forum in Facebook and share some pictures with us. I love to see who other have it ...

what speakers are you using?

best regards
Francisco
