20 amp power cords for ARC pre and amp

Looking for suggestions for power cords for a Ref 40th Anniversary and Ref 150.

Thanks for your input.

petesm.......Welcome to Audio Aficionado. Great to see you support this site in a big way from the get go.

Regarding the power cords, why 20 amp cords? Is that what the manufacture specs?

petesm...welcome to AA  and nice choice of gear :D. Shunyata power cords are often used with ARC gear at audio shows and by many owners. I am one such owner and I have my ARC equipment plugged into a Hydra 8 conditioner and using Shunyata power cords. I have a Python Helix Alpha (one version prior to current CX cords) from the Hydra 8 into the wall.

Do you have a power conditioner that you are already using?

Dan... My Ref 110 and Ref 3 both have 20amp IEC connectors.

The ARC products have a different plug configuration that I believe is a 20 amp plug.

Currently I plan on plugging the components directly into their own dedicated outlets. I have not been able to convince myself that power conditioners are necessary. Maybe clean power where I live.

Thanks for your input.

Cyril.......Thank you. are the current draws of the Ref 110 and the Ref 3 more than 12 amps each?
