JL Audio CR-1 Crossover
Seems JL is putting out there own external crossover. Very exciting, may be time for an upgrade to go with my two F113's!

I wish the lowest crossover was less than 50hz on the CR-1.
Even if JL subs do a better job at 50hz and lower, I would have liked to compare for myself. |
Looking forward to a shootout between this and the Bryston 10B. I see a crossover in my future...

On second thought, guess I better leave that to the pros. :D |
God, this may be an awfully stupid question, but will the CR-1 be able to kill the lower frequencies in my mains?

It sounds like a good price for an active x-over but expensive when compared to the Mc MEN220 which provides ARO and delay tat the author was asking for. The review did seem to say that the CR1 would provide both hi/low pass. If you are matching to JL sub then you are buying one more x-over than is needed (though it is more convenient to use the CR1 to tweak frequencies). I'm looking forward to learning more.
