Emotional Rescue

The subject title is taking from the Stones 1980 album release.

Buck is doing a great review page, there are the “what are you listening to now pages”, but nothing towards what song or album drives the Emotional Rescue.

What song or album drives your Emotional Rescue?

This song has been in my head after a listening session at a local dealer with Steve, Tony, Marc and me this past December.

Here’s mine, found on Tidal, the song Cold Blue Steel and Sweet Fire, on the album:

Great guitar, words and of course vocals. It brings back nostalgia when things may have been more simple and free.

Just using the interpretation of what Jagger, Richards and crew passed on to us.

Music is the Emotional Rescue to the backdrop of life!

Ed, here lately the music that gives me that escape is jazz from the 50’s and 60’s. No particular artist or song just jazz from that time period, something about the recordings from that time period sound so good to me.

I enjoy the raw, emotional, just natural CSNY 1974. Music heard as it was intended - no magical electronics to skew the original purpose.

+1.

The Ella & Louis albums especially make me smile each time again.

Also viola da gamba and cello music can warm my heart.
