VT80SE.....ok, what gives?

Ok AR fans...really surprised there is not much fan fare around the AR VT80SE. I would think this amp hits the sweet spot of the AR product line (like the MC275VI for McIntosh). I haven't heard this amp, but I'm very intrigued. I like the feature set, especially the auto bias and the KT150's.
Anyone have this beauty? Impressions? Like? Dislikes? :music:

I don't know why I haven't heard much, but I think it might be because the ref75se is not too much of a stretch for the prospective vt80se buyer. I suppose many are going for that one, seems like a big seller.

The VT80SE is in some respects a stereo REF160M. It shares the same auto bias circuit.

The REF75SE from what I recall is still based off an older circuit that needs manual biasing.

It does sound good driving a pair of Amati Traditions.

Would be cool to hear a compare between the AR VT80SE vs. McIntosh MC275VI. Similar in "size." :scratch2:
