MC-301 to XA 100.8
 

How would one compare the 100.8 to the 301, driving a pair of SF Elipsa?

100 watts Class A vs. 300 watts Autoformer.


I'm looking to switch things up in my system #2 mostly because system #1 is also McIntosh, but if anything, I felt the 301s may have been slightly under powered.

I do not have the ability to audition the 100.8 but I have always liked other class A amps I've listened to.
