Anyone use 12' to 20' Interconnects
Hi all, 10 days from moving to my new home with a new dedicated audio room. Considering moving my rack to the side mid room and just having the amps between the speakers. If I don't the rack will be behind the speakers just barely though.
What's been your experience. I would likely go with WW Silver Eclipse balance cables. |
I have been running 10M/30' interconnects for many years. There are no reasons for concern with decent equipment (source, cable, amp).

Same here,...have 3m, 4m, 5m and 6m length cords in the system (XLRs and power) for years, no problems.

I’m using 7 meter WW Eclipse 8 XLR and they work great. Amp is across the room from the preamp and between the speakers.

I used in my previous setup a 5.5M pair of kimber KS-1111 XLR between my preamp and amplifier and it was just fine.

No problem here as well.....my rack is on the left side of my room with the amplifier between the speakers on a stand. I'm running a 20' pair of Transparent balanced cables, works just fine.

For those who are curious, my longest run ever is a 55’ pair of WW Platinum Eclipse XLR’s. It runs from my TT Pre-amp in the back of the room, all the way around to the front to my C1000C,T

I have been using ~20' to 25' interconnects from my pre to my amps for several years. No issues at all.

35’ balanced interconnects here as the rack is to the side of the speakers and amps. No issues.
