Bill.......Thanks for the link. I am a PMC fan for many years. I love my PMC EB1i speakers.

The 75mm mid-range dome and 10" Nomex woofer in the EB1i are the same ones currently being used in the professional IB1 S which is very popular with leading movie and recording studios as a near to mid-field monitor. The 27mm soft dome tweeter used in both speakers is very similar.

I am enjoying mine now and working from home. Really good speakers.

Wish they could improve on looks like the b&w speakers. Soundwise b&w 802d2 is no match to the Pmc ib2i

I know what your are saying. But once you understand why PMC designs their speakers the way they do you have a greater understanding and appreciation for why they sound so good. The cabinets may look simple but the materials and construction are anything but.
