I would check to verify that all of the ribbon cables are seated properly.

Of course, make sure the Tuner is unplugged.

Dan.......Sorry to hear this. Ivan's suggestion is a good place to start. Next stop would be your dealer. I once had an MC300 power amplifier I bought new, turned it on and no right channel meter movement. I pulled the cover, disconnected then reconnected the cable and the meter came to life. never had another issue. Hope it is as simple as that for you.

Agree, especially if unit was recently shipped. I had same issue with a loose cable following shipping when I bought a MC2102, a meter was “dead”, all was well with a cable re-seat.

Just back to this forum tonight 9.23pm ( Sept 25 )

My McIntosh sales rep told me remove cover to check ribbon cables.. and if that did not solve problem, new replacement unit would be sent. At least it was good service:banana:

It was the ribbon connected to front panel ( had to remove cover over section where you see the flywheel though the top. ) 2nd ribbon cable over on the right in Ivan's photo.

So suggestions you guy's had were spot on but read them after problem fixed.

Sign of relief...:music:
