Bohemian Rhapsody

No one would see this with me, so I waited for the release on iTunes, and paid $9.99 to own it. I will watch this again, and maybe again.

I read back and forth that it really focused more on Freddie than Bryan, Roger, and John. While Freddie’s fate could have been avoided, it goes without saying this band created a lot of the tunes we recall growing up, he is missed.

Picked this up off Wikipedia: It became a major box office success, grossing over $868 million worldwide on a production budget of about $50 million, becoming the sixth-highest-grossing film of 2018 worldwide and setting the all-time box office records for the Biographical film and Drama genres.

Highly Recommend if you have not already seen it!

Really enjoyed this one, more so that I would have thought given the lukewarm critical reception.

I thought it was very good. Rami Malek was awesome, he deserved the best actor award this year.

I enjoyed the movie. Rami Malek got his degree in drama from my home town university -- the University of Evansville.
The 4K Blu-ray special features includes the full Live Aid concert, not the original, the one filmed for the movie.

I really enjoyed this as well, even though my viewing was not optimal (on an AA flight). I will buy the 4K Blu-ray, and probably the vinyl as well.

Update: Just bought both!

I thought it was wonderful. The effort they went through to recreate Live Aid was mind-blowing! (in the Extras) My favorite period of the band covers their first 4 albums--after that they got too commercial/silly for my taste, so I wish the movie focused a bit more on that period.

I'm surprised that Queen doesn't use the guy who recorded some of the vocals for the sound track, Marc Martell--he sounds just like Freddie and much better than Adam Lambert!

I agree, he is much better than Adam Lambert.
