Aerial and Luxman

I'm getting the upgrade bug again. Is anyone running a Luxman 550 or 590 with the Aerial 7T's? I'm wondering how they would pair up.

Current speakers are B&W 804 Diamond.

I'm sure they would sound great with Luxman, mine sure do with Accuphase. :music:

My local dealer hooked up a pair of 7T's w/the Luxman 550 in his demo room and it was an excellent combo. I have a pair of older 6's and next year I'm considering the Luxman CL-38U retro preamp w/my Bryston 2.5 amp. :music:

I got to listen to the Aerials a bit this week. They sound better than my B&W 804 Diamonds but not by a huge factor. I'm concerned that I might get the bug to upgrade again once/if I get the Aerials but based on a lot of feedback from those much more well versed in this hobby, there seems to be a large contingent of owners who have chosen to keep their T7s.

I will probably do an in home demo for a week before making my final decision.

I've had my 7Ts for approximately 2 years and have considered upgrading them several time. There are speakers that do things better, but to my ears the Aerial's overall musicality makes them a keeper. The only speakers that I heard that do everything better and are more musical than the 7Ts are the Raidho C 3.1, but they are to far out of my price range. I've decided to just be happy and continued to improve the little things.
