Mac Remote Control Question
 

Does anyone on the Mac board know what the HRXXX number is for the Mac MX130 Control Center Remote Control?

I had a chance to buy one today, but I was too slow. Anyway, knowing the HR number might help in the search to score another remote.

It's the HR034 according to the McIntosh Compendium website.

Thanks, Maks, but I actually found our MX-130 remote today.
On the bottom of the unit, it states (verbatim):

REMOTE TRANSMITTER

PART 121029 FOR USE WITH

C39 and MX130

McINTOSH LABORATORY INC.

BINGHAMPTON, NY 13903 USA

No HRXXX identification number could be found anywhere on the unit.
Anyway, I thought that you -- or anyone else looking for information
about this unit in the future -- might want to have this as a reference.

McIntosh UR12 remote control problem
 

Hi friends,
I bought the McIntosh UR12 remote in its original packaging. The operating program was missing from the device. (Program… Empty). McIntosh no more had this program in their archives. Does anyone have this program, and could you provide it to me? I have the right hardware to download the program. Thank you in advance.

MX130 Remote Control - FOUND
 

As stated in my last post, I found the remote control for our MX130 AVP some time ago. It does not have a model number on it, but, if I can help you somehow, I'm willing to try. :thumbsup:

There have been model number changes made for quite a few replacement McIntosh accessories including remotes.

I'm not surprised that an original MX130 remote made between 1993 & 1998 would not have the HR034 part number. However, if you need to order a replacement that is exactly what you'd search for.

You can also use the original part number that 70sMac posted. I believe, however, you'd have more luck looking for it under the new part number.
