Bryston BCD-3
I completed the purchase of the Bryston BCD-3 CD player form Ivan. We had been in discussions about my desire for a SACD player but what was available in my price range I was not too excited about. Of course, I would love to have an Esoteric, but I did have a budget to stay confined in. From my research I feel the Bryston will fill my void just fine. Others have stated how refined this CDP is at making CDs sound their best, but even badly recorded CDs will sound as such. Luckily most of my SACDs are hybrids so this won't be an issue. This may very well be the last CDP I will ever own.
Thank you Ivan for your patience, guidance and suggestions during this process. Sadly, service such as Ivan's is missing from the current retail world. Subscribing to AA has kept more of my audio play money in my pocket to spend on more audio related products. Your audio purchase dollars go much farther as a subscriber. |
Congratulations on a great disc player.

Kevin... Congrats, and thank you very much. Your new BCD-3 is already in the production queue. :ok:

I work for a Canadian company as a US citizen (soon to change their domicile), bought Canadian audio, will that entice me to like Canadian beer?

Holy Cow, as Harry Carey would shout! That is quick turnaround. Now to hide until I can place under the tree. I wonder if Maria will enjoy a CDP as a gift from me? I suppose I best rethink this.
