I recently purchased a bunch of Furutech NCF Boosters.

These are much more than just a cable support.

I’m sure it’s a good product but the photo makes it look like a medieval torture device. ;)

It may look like a medieval “Spanish Boot” but elevating speaker cables off the floor has long been proven to be beneficial, especially in the winter when all the static builds up in the carpets!

This may be more expensive than using fishing line to suspend speaker cables off the floor but the WAF is much greater. :D

OK, I'll bite, how much $$. I've had something like this in mind for a while and have a DIY design that's along the same line minus the NCF of course. I see the main area of use (for me) is at the IEC input at the rear of components.

Retail $350 each

I plan to install a few dozen next week on my various systems.

I read somewhere on a Japanese website recently that these made a marked improvement in SQ and that they have a cumulative effect as more are added.

Hi.
Testing my brand new NCF Booster.
Really interesting tweak.
I have it supporting my Göbel PC on the IEC TAD C600 connector.
It has a really audible improvement.
More focused image, less noise floor, sweeter highs, more organic sound, warmer presentation, more depth...
Maybe it lacks both ends extension or it is the result of less distortion....
I feel less dynamic presentation.
I couldn’t imagine such a sound change...

I'm almost afraid to ask, but....in a perfect world, just how many of these do you need? One for each end of every power cable? Are we talking one every foot or so to keep speaker cables off the floor? How many more? All of my monies I haven't even made yet...:tears:
