Apparently will be made by Ballfinger and branded Thorens. I agree, expensive for a compact deck with a Thorens badge. We'll have to wait and see what the specs are as far as tape speed, bias, equalization and whether it records or is strictly playback only.

Still, it's nice to see tape making a comeback, even though it's an expensive comeback.

It's a playback only deck. Two track 15ips capable.
