Hi Hessec,

Don't own Soulution products, but heared the 7 series a couple,of times at a dealer in Holland, with Magico M5 it was a match made in heaven, absolutely not sterile or analytical as mentioned above. Best to give it a try if possible with your own speakers.

I might provoke some reaction with the following, but my opinion is that well build tube amplifiers don't sound tuby and well build transistor amplifiers don't sound "transistory"

Ok thanks for the input so far.... Conflicting reports which is what I would have expected...
I have heard the 700 series a couple times now and thought it was really good. It seems they have a sense of calm that the boulder gear does not. 2000 series a big leap from the 1000 in this regard. Whether this is realistic or not it's hard to say.

Can anyone comment on the quality of the 520/530 internal phono stage? Do you feel the need for an external unit? Are you using xlr connections anywhere?
