PMC IB2I suitable for my room?

found a pre-owned ib2i at a great price.

my room in the basement measures 18x16 feet, but the listening area is 10x16. the back wall opens into the entire basement. will the speakers work or i will have a bass problem.

usbyte.......The PMC IB2i speakers will work fine in that space. The transmission line loading of the bass driver does not rely on needing near proximity to a wall to develop solid low frequency performance. I use my PMC EB1i speakers in a room that is 11.5' x16' and the entire frequency range is well supported. The PMC IB21 speakers will astonish you. They are excellent.

Thanks a lot Dan. Makes me feel a lot better. Also thanks for linking me up with a dealer to these speakers.
