"The Room" gets Stillpoints
 

Today I ordered enough Stillpoints to isolate a small Country. They will arrive this Friday; I will start by doing my XRT2K's, XCS2K, and Gotham subs in my Florida Theater.

OMG! Now that is a project. :)

Ivan.......That is a damn good testimony to your impression of the Stillpoints you installed in the Cape. I believe your experiences will be duplicated in The Room.

oh my...you probably exceeded a small country's GDP value as well if you are doing "The Room"!

Stillpoints are in the house... about 100+ lbs of them. :)

Randy... Yes, Phase 1 is to do my LCR and Gotham subs. Phase 2 will be the gear.

Component level upgrade
 

Tonight we put Ultra SS feet on my XRT2K's. Richard and I then listened to a few of our most common demo tracks. Keep in mind I have had these XRT2Ks set up in the Room for about 10 years.

We know their sound signature intimately. After playing four different artists/tracks we compared notes.

Both of us summed up the improvements with the Stillpoint Ultra SS feet identically.

1) improved sound stage; moved closer and has a greater front to back presentation.
2) improved presence; as awesome as the 2K's were, they simply got better.
3) improved detail; notably better instrument clarity, and definition.

These are the Real Deal.
