McIntosh XRT1.1K
Oh my, beautiful speakers. I have no idea about pricing but these have winner written all over them. Would love to hear a pair someday.

A lot of drivers, would be best to bi or tri amp these babies!

I just can’t get past the tweeters covering the other speakers.

70 drivers, I presume for each speaker cabinet seems excessive. I would expect interference between so many drivers and the tweeters and midrange in front of the lower frequency drivers.

Got the email this morning. Like Paul, I am not a fan of the midrange and tweeter line array mounted in front of the woofers.

Their bigger brothers sounded pretty convincing in Ivan’s theater...

Beautiful, but McIntosh should stick with building amps and preamps! A bit of overkill on midrange and tweeters! IMOA

The line array, among other things, is perfect for a multi Aisle home theater as almost each chair can have close to equal sound pressure levels. Limit the drivers and that benefit goes away.

I’m a big fan of Line Array Speakers in my Theaters.

I don't understand how you obtain really low bass from 6.5 inch drivers. That's the size of a midrange. Does anyone know the price?
