If all goes according to plan, seeing her tomorrrow night at The Green Mill. Super excited - been waiting on this opportunity for several years.

That will be a great show, she sings very clean and has a tight crisp band too! Enjoy :)

It was great. Keep this trip on your bucket list. Costs $8 to get in and no drink minimum. Classic quiet jazz club with many different folks in the audience - young, old, multi cultural. Sound was excellent.
Her musicianship and that of her band was over the top. Not sure whether I liked the drummer, bassist or her the most. Sax joined them I. The second and third sets and he was great also, but I think I preferred them without the sax. Just awesome. Easy to get there and there were cabs lined up when I left - so easy to get home also. Interesting that it was cash only - reminded me of the old days with everyone walking around with their "folding money". I think they let you bring food in (not sure), but there is no food inside the green mill. |
Sorry - No food served inside the green mill.
Rumor has it that the place was frequented by Capone and there are tunnels installed from prohibition. |
Favorite song (although it was hard to choose) was caravan. I've heard it 1000 times, but that was the best.

Awesome... one of the artist I pick out to test new equipment. Some of my favorite albums!
