Batteries from Amazon

I read lots of horror stories about people buying batteries from Amazon. I'm talking about AA, AAA, C, D and 9 volt.

It's not about price, more about convenience for me. Folks claim anything from Chinese knock offs, to being expired, dead or leaking.

Where do you you buy your batteries?

Ivan.......I buy all of my batteries from Lowes. They have a large turnover of product in their stores that keeps their inventory fresh.

Dan... I believe that is the best solution; Loews, Home Depot etc.

Agree - Lowes is good, and I also will get mine at Costco, which has good prices and lots of turnover.
