I could probably get away with something similar as we never use our fireplace. It is a ventless LP stove that leaves white dust around the house and smells. I just don’t get the idea of ventless. Do they not know that LP is not 100% pure?

You might think I'm kidding, but we did more or less the same thing in our living room.
