B&W and ARC is not my taste.

Passlabs, Thrax , Octave....

I had the ARC pre Ref 6 with 250momo....after the Xa100.5 and 100.8.

The preampli for Pass is PASS; the B&W & Pass (ihmo) sound goooood

I am currently between this B&W, Focal Scala v2, and Focal Sopra No.3 for my next speakers.

Anyone able to shed more light on this? Thanks.

I just bought a pair of the 802D3, but was not able to compare against the other two that you are mentioning. There are a number of folks here that have done extensive comparison listening tests though. I would read the threads as well as the reviews that Karl wrote in Stereophile.

So, from what I can tell, you'd take the B&W 802D3 over the Sopra No. 3?
To further this, do you have any experience with the Scala v1 or v2? (or both)

I currently own the Focal Aria 936 and have enjoyed it, but I am looking for a real sweet spot upgrade.

As listed in my above post, I am down to:
B&W 802D3
Focal Sopra No. 2/3
Focal Scala v1/v2

Thank you for your time, sir.

Oops!

Meant Kal

Sorry, one more check. No experience with the Scala Evo?

Then don't buy it, unless you can listen to all those speakers before.
