Review of Giya G3's
There is a very nice review of Vivid's Gaya G3 speakers in the April 2014 issue of Stereophile by John Atkinson.

Jim.......I haven't read the review yet but I just can't get past the shape. No matter what they sound like I could not live with the way they look. I'm sure they have their enthusiasts, just not me.

They look like a morphed Alien, I mean B&W Nautilus.

The good thing for me is that not only do I find them hideous, but I found the sound wanting every time I heard them. So... no love lost there! |

Mike.......I'll just have to take your word for it. With so many other excellent speakers in the world's marketplace that please my eyes and ears it is highly unlikely I would bother to audtion these speakers under any circumstances. I can appreciate your enthusiasm but they are not on my radar at all.

I've only heard a few vivid speakers, and there was something missing for sure. Not totally blaming the speaker, but my tepid response paired with their bizarre styling sends me into Wilson land. Just me.

+1. I just cannot accept the shape. |
