Old Classic KSA 150
Hi,
Anyone here still using OR has used in the past the KSA 150 ? Just acquired one in mint condition after a complete rebuild. So far it seems like a nice amp..... Thanks.. |
I do have the ksa 250 same deast but more powerful

I have a KSA-250 too and during the past year it was re-capped and output Transitors and Drivers were replaced. It was difficult to find a qualified engineer to Perform the repair.

I have been using the baby brother--KSA 100--for > 15 years now. Bass only in a bi-amp application. Just got it back from the shop 2 days ago. I took it in to have it checked out and everything is/was perfect. It sure is nice getting that good housekeeping seal of approval on older equipment.
So only 1 minor repair during all those years of duty. The only thing I've done was to add a Shunyata power cable. |
It's a keeper. I never had one but a friend of mine did. Mint condition and having it rebuilt sounds really nice!

albert see... Welcome to AA!

I don't know how much the KSA-80 differs from the 150, but I've had one on loan for the past few weeks and I'm really enjoying it. It was re-capped a few years ago and sounds great. In fact, my dealer is offering a stupidly good deal on it so it may be coming to stay for a while!
