That we did. In a most butt clenching way. A draw, and then a golden over. Of six balls, or pitches, if you prefer. Another draw, 15 runs, or bases,if you prefer, but we lost fewer wickets/outs. This is not a team of scared restraint normally, but they oh so nearly lost it as a result. I'm mildly pleased, just as I am living in blighty. At least we've got free health care.

It was a bit bizarre I agree. And that's why I'm not really downing the beers in celebration. I guess we were slightly better over the tournament, but the likes of Stokes only scoring 6 runs in over 20 balls etc and the wimpy run rate in general of our batting failed to impress me. You had two equal teams on the day.
