It's hard to believe that in nearly 8 years, this thread has not received a single response.
I would assume that in the intervening years since MF first wrote about using a usb microscope that there are newer and better versions (especially resolution wise) on the market. I've been looking around a bit, but haven't settled on any one particular model yet. Anybody else out there using this device? I'd imagine it would also be an invaluable tool to measure stylus wear as well. Just sayin' |
Here's a search of the parent forum on the word "microscope". I don't know if the forum software will preserve it across sessions; but you get the idea.

Posting a link to search results doesn’t work, but did you try doing the search yourself? |

I used the search feature to find the lonely thread that I resurrected. I'm satisfied. |
Well, okee dokee then...

I bought the Smart-tractor and the Magick alignment software. USB microscope Dyno light I think. The acoustical systems VTA tool. When my new TT comes in two weeks I will set up the new Lyra Etna cartridge. I will post pictures of the process I will be able to give opinions of these tools then.

That would be a very worthwhile project to take photos of as you make your way through the setup. Quote:
