You know it when you see it, the spaghetti mess of wires, mis matched components, floor tripping power amps and media everywhere!

Who has the most organized and cleanest system?

Bill... Just saw this, you ask a lot of questions in that last line. Each system poses its own individual challenges.

Don't underestimate the importance of pre-planning a system, many of the issues you mention can be eliminated before they come up.

I will not be any help on the whole baby/cat/dog proofing situation. ;)
