What Are You Using To Clean Your Records?
I'm just about to run out of my Disc Doctor Miracle record cleaner fluid and am wondering what everyone else is using to clean their LP's?
Please also let me know if you changed from another product and which one you preferred? Thanks |

For horizontal cleaning AIVS remains my choice:
http://www.theaudiobeat.com/equipment/aivs_products.htm For ultrasonic cleaning I use: 200ml Isopropyl Alcohol, 5ml Ifotol wetting agent - that's for a gallon of distilled water. I'm thinking of adding a bit of Hepastat 256 to that mix. https://thevinylpress.com/timas-diy-rcm/ |

I have been using the Musical Surroundings fluid lately. But I was thinking of trying L'Art Du Son Record Cleaning Fluid. Everyone seems to rave about it.

Distilled water only in my Klaudio RCM.

Audio Intelligent Formula #6 one-step, on a ClearAudio Double Matrix Pro Sonic. I absolutely love the amazing speed and convenience of this setup. Records that aren't too grungy get superbly cleaned and dried in 1:30. The #6 seems to work just as well as Musical Surroundings' Record Time formula, and is less expensive.
