Beware - MSS HiFi selling JL Audio F113s on ebay

FYI--it is what it is:

They had an F212 on the Bay a week or two ago but it didn't sell. Many folks are learning who they really are and what their nasty game is all about
I pity the fools!

AudioNut 10-31-2011 11:28 AM

Yes, we do know their nasty games but. . . .

How in the world have they accumulated so many good reviews? Surely someone on eBay has been disappointed with their service.

This unfortunate rating will, no doubt encourage poor unsuspecting people to buy from them.

Mist are fake reviews I'm sure

I asked in regards to the ad: "Are you an honest person?"
This is the reply I got.

"Dear john-9142,

How can anyone who make this much $$$ be "honest". What a dumb question.

Johnny Boey

That about says it all IMO.

JL Audio takes this very serious, they buy his gear off eBay to terminate the Dealer(s) who are supplying him.

I sure hope they can trace the origin. This guy needs to go down.

JL puts serial numbers inside, like many other manufacturers. That will be his down fall.

Whichever dealers are selling off the gear to him can always claim it was not them rather one of their customers who transacted directly with MSS Hifi on a trade-in or outright sale transaction. I don't know how you can prove that it was the dealer directly unless there is a crap load of equipment from the same manufacturer that they are selling off to MSS Hifi at which point it would be clear cut. :dunno:

AudioNut 11-07-2011 10:33 PM

Just remember what a high class operation you are dealing with . . . . and please forgive me for belaboring this point, but I visited the store, I took this picture and I was totally unimpressed.
