Any SoTM users here?
 

I've been reading great things about this company's streamers, power supplies and Ethernet switches.

Anyone have any experiences they'd be willing to share with the gang?

I have ordered one with the clock input and upgraded caps and wiring. Should be here in a week or so. SOtM -> GigaFoil -> W20

Are you referring to the SoTM SMS200 Ultra Neo Special Edition? For $1500?

If so, VERY interested in what you have to say about it once its burned in. Thinking about this or the Innuous Zen Mk3 half-width unit.

Not that one, I ordered the SoTM SNH-10G with SLCK-EX clock input. It is a new audiophile ethernet switch. Yes I'm insane, it was $1900.

SoTM's product nomenclature is very confusing, at best.

True, I had to read through it a few times to make sure I wasn't missing something. I'm interested to see how the G-01 performs with the Sotm.

SuperDave, I am interested in hearing your thoughts on what benefits it brings beyond the GigaFoil V4.

The Kii Three dealer here uses SoTM streamers to provide the 0/1s.

Many of the reports I have read about include Cybershaft clocks and I'm hoping the G-01 Rubidium clock will provide the same results they have described. I'm in uncharted territory here in terms of my knowledge about networking but I've spent more for less and I trust the others using the SOtM are equally crazy about optimizing their sound. My goal is to bring steaming sound as close as possible to spinning cds and some with significantly better dacs are already there. The GigaFoil is a bargain for how much it saves me in cable length costs!!
