PC's Harbeth 30.2s arrives! (Well kinda...)

Well, the left Harbeth 30.2 showed up today, a day early.

The right Harbeth is still en-route, FEDEX tracking showing its presently in Williams, AZ, with arrival scheduled for Monday.

I am sure glad I was home to sign for the left one as I didn't expect a Saturday delivery.

The left one was perfectly packed, double boxed and packaged with the OEM Harbeth boxes and packing materials.

And its gorgeous...pic to follow later today or tomorrow.

As I have one speaker as of yet, I am listening to mono recordings with it in the interim. :D

What do you think of the Harbeth 15.1 thus far?

Sorry, I couldn’t resist piling on.

Come to think of it Stephen, this a very unique experience! Who else among us can claim to have listened to only “one” new speaker? :D

Love it, very clever...I'll have to remember that.

I was reading some old issues of Stereo Review some while back, from the late 50s, back when "Hi-Fi" was still the rage, and...folks where listening to just one speaker back in those days. I listened to some mono LPs last night...it was fun.

Wooooaaah livin’ on a prayer

Come on I can’t be the only one who heard that.

Ps love the Harbeth Monitor series. I prefer them to the SHL5 or C7s

In other news, if you can’t stretch your moolah to the Harbeths, the new Wharfedale Linton complete with stands that double up as a record rack is just outstanding. Well worth an audition.

The left speaker is due to arrive tomorrow. Yesterday it was in Williams, AZ. Tonight its in Chowchilla, CA, about 125 miles away. On its way up to me as I write this.

You can prepare your Beatles' mono records for it. That should be a great
starting point after burn it in.
