Hey fellas,

I've been looking to replace my radio shack hdmi cable from, the satellite box to the tv, and I'm considering a wireworld cable, most likely starlight 7. I've read that a longer cable (2m vs 1m) makes a difference. Anyone have any experience with this? Does that make sense?

Cable length on a WW HDMI won’t make any difference in performance.

As a follow up, is it a noticeable step up from the starlight 7 to silver starlight?

One installer that I know does not recommend very short, less than a meter, HDMI cables for whatever reason. The installer was unable to offer a reason for his recommendation when pressed. Personally, I've used cables of 1ft in length without any issues. I've also used 50' cables and have achieved excellent results.
