"Bookshelf" Speakers

I have several pairs of bookshelf speakers, nothing fancy, but am looking to upgrade a pair or two.

I'm wondering what any of you folks might recommend.

And when I mean "bookshelf" I mean small. I have a pair of ADS L880/II's that are termed by ADS as "bookshelf" speakers but I have yet to see a bookshelf that would support those beasts. :D

Anyway, looking forward to what you have to say, Aficionados!

The KEF LS50 set has garnered tons of positive reviews. I have yet to hear them, though. But I have loved KEF stuff in the past, and still use their stuff in other custom jobs.

At that price point it seems they would be the ones to try to beat.

Thanks!

I saw those listed in a couple of online reviews which were very positive.

Sonus Faber Toy Monitors would fit the bill, plus they can currently be found with nice discounts if you look around. I've found that they benefit from close rear wall placement, which is good for use tight spaces
