I'm using Transparent Super speaker cables with my Sopra 3's. When I first demo'ed them in my system, I was blown away by the improvement over my old Transparent Plus cables. I never thought such an improvement was possible with just cables. The difference was obvious in the first 20 seconds of listening.

I also demo'ed the Transparent Ultra's but I didn't find enough of a improvement over the Super's to justify spending twice the money. I ended up buying the Super's.

Focal rep at store demo last month stated that they were NOT using Transparent (currently). I’m racking my brain to remember what he said they were using but I specifically asked if they were using Transparent and he replied, “no, we use...”

I recently heard a friend Focal Maestro's and they sounded good with Shunyata Anaconda but even better with the MIT cable he had on hand. Dont remember which MIT they were but I think about $10-12k/pr.

They were the new Heritage Line MI-2C3D Level 2. Sound was very good.
